Travelling to Hévíz:

The city is located in the county of Zala, on the South-Western corner of Lake Balaton, 6 kms away from Keszthely.

Travelling by car:

From Bécs-Sopron, turning off the A1 highway on the A3 towards Eisenstadt you arrive at the Klingenbach/Sopron border crossing. From here, the road 84 (accross Sümeg) leads to Balatonederics. Turning off the road 71 (West) you will get to Hévíz over Keszthely.

From Budapest, take the M7 highway, drive along as far as Balatonszentgyörgy on the southern bank of Balaton. From there turn off to road 76, and at Fenékpuszta turn to road 71 and drive accross Keszthely towards Hévíz.

Travelling by bus:

Every day many direct coaches leave for Hévíz from Budapest and several big cities. The bus station is on Deák square, next to the lake, where hundreds of tourists are every day.

Travelling by plane:

13 kms away from Hévíz, there is the Fly Balaton, where scheduled flights, charter flights and private planes can land as well. Tel/fax:00-36/83-355-500

Travelling by train:

There are not any railway lines in Hévíz. Passangers can travel as far as Keszthely (6km) or Balatonszentgyörgy, and from there take a bus to Hévíz.
