I snapped my Boa lace on my Ride Lasso's stopping a landing and got back on the hill within the hour since the snowboard shop at bottom of hill had service parts/laces I then went to Boa website and got replacement parts free of charge and also free of shipping sent to me so I had backups on hand This proved to be handy as my other lace on other boot snapped about 2 weeks later. even though the laces are metal I consider them to be "consumable" and appears BOA does as well since they will just give you free laces/parts I sugges (http://www.pixelmarsala.com/product.aspx?name=a8x6t2-ugges)t to ANYONE that buys a BOA boot. look on the boot (usually the tongue) and get the BOA lace lengths and as then just order some replacement parts right off the bat to have on hand Aside from this I'm a BIG fan of Boa as I like being able to quick adjust depending on the run..
