A black bear joined students and walked the halls of Bozeman High School in Bozeman Mont. Wednesday morning after sneaking through an open garage door
According to Montana’s department of Fish Wildlife and Parks no injuries were reported and school superintendent Rob Watson said no classes were delayed
The bear came in through the garage door and was spotted in the cafeteria around 7:30 am It was also spotted on the football field and in the hallway before police ushered it out The bear appeared calm and unaffected as it strolled through the halls of the high school Student Leon Uebelhoer and teacher Matt Clark captured videos of the bear
Police arrived at the school immediately and directedstudents into classrooms before ushering the bear out which only took them three minutes
“It was a nice pretty black bear” Bozeman police officer Rick Musson told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle “It didn’t show any sign of aggression”

As official bear buddy Buck has answered before it’s unlikely that cider vinegar on your body will attract me to you in any added way Vinegar evaporates quickly off the skin and any that remains will be overwhelmed by your natural human scents (which get stronger the longer you stay in the backcountry)
I often get questions about cider vinegar as a repellent and though it’s been used to chase off black bears I wouldn’t rely on it
If you bring cider vinegar into the backcountry though it’s probably wise to take typical bear precautions and store it with your food and other smelly items in a canister
Otherwise enjoy your cider vinegar showers But I’d probably refrain from sharing your vigor for vinegar with neighbors or prospective romantic interests…at least until the third date
