While in Florida you may want to go to Key West for a day It is fun
Just south of San Francisco is something you may want to do-- 17 Mile Drive Beautiful beaches and scenery I still say you should rent a car and drive yourself between San Francisco and LA It is great You could stop in San Louis Obispo and tour the Hearst Castle
