Children’s House

The Arrabona Drama Group has been working for 30 years. At the beginning became adults, than students and children enthusiastic members of the group.

They are playing in two groups at present. In the „small” group are 10-13 year old children, but they have been „using up” the board of the stage for 3 years as well. Under the „big” members there are drama students, who earned with 8 years long working the title „Member forever” .

The Drama Group is working in the Children’s House, in Győr, Hungary, and become during the years one of the most significant group in the region. They take every opportunities to keep this level.

Although the two groups rehearsals separeted once a week, they form together the Arrabona Drama Group. The members come from schools of Győr and around Győr. At the winter workshops and in summer camps they play together, at performances they are enthusiastic fans of each other.

The group is lucky, because they can work with national admitted experts, who improve the quality of the group.

The leader of the group is Katalin Frankó, who got many director’s prize at regional and national competitions. She proved her talent and ability to lead a group.

The Drama group comes back from national competitions with excellent results and proves the succes of their working every year (Festivals: Kisfaludy Days, Sándor Weöres National Drama Meeting for Children, Helikon Festival in Keszthely, Festival of Drama Students.)

They use some culturehistorical elements in working up drama pieces.
