The film – directed by Norwegian filmmaker Morten Tyldum (Headhunters) – follows mathmatician and pioneering computer scientist Turing during his assistance in cracking Nazi Germany's Enigma code that helped lead the Allies to victory.
Written by screenwriter Graham Moore – based upon Andrew Hodge's biography Alan Turing: The Enigma – The Imitation Game also stars Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode and Mark Strong. Moore's screenplay topped Hollywood's Black List in 2011 – a survey compiling the industry's greatest unproduced scripts.
Turing was a pioneer of modern computing who was credited by Winston Churchill with helping the Allies save thousands of lives in the war. He was prosecuted for homosexuality in 1952,jordan shoes, tragically dying two years later from cyanide poisoning. Turing was finally given a royal pardon in 2013.

BFI London Film Festival (LFF)
in October with Sherlock actor Cumberbatch,Kicksokok.com, Knightley and Tyldum all expected to attend.
The historical drama won the People's Choice Award at this year's Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
