Better known as a fashion model, racing driver and television personality,http://www.gimlipsko.com/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=36415cheapjordanshoesfreeshipping.com/bolg, if she’s been off radar for the past six months it’s because she’s been here, digging a vegetable garden with her mum, Wendy, renovating the interiors with an equine-inspired flourish (saddle-leather seats and hessian cushions) and sourcing the talented staff for her latest ?adventure.?
But this is no vanity project. It’s her name over the door and she’s taking it all incredibly seriously.?
“It’s a real labour of love but it’s the most gratifying thing I’ve ever done,” says the 38 year-old. “I’m out of the door at 8am and not back home till past midnight.”?
All of which has meant her six-year-old son Indio has already grown used to pub life. “Someone asked him, jordans for cheap, ‘what does Mum do when she drops you off at school?’ and he said, ‘she goes straight to the pub!’” laughs Jodie.
More good life than glamorous, perhaps, but that’s all to the good for Jodie. She is a diehard country girl who appreciates the important role a country pub plays in a community – but nothing quite prepared her for how much closer becoming a landlady would bring her to her own.
Data is only getting bigger, but it is getting better at helping businesses, says Sally Percy.
Today the world creates 2.5 quintillion bytes of data daily, but data growth will explode further as the internet of things expands.
This is a challenge for businesses since – after people – data is arguably their most important asset. What they do with their data will increasingly make all the difference between failure and success.
By 2020,cheap jordan shoes, 20.8 billion devices will be connected on the IoT, according to analysts Gartner
According to a study by research firm IDC,cheap jordans, the big data technology and services market will be worth $58.9bn globally in 2020. Already companies are using cloud-based data analytics to improve their businesses.
One global energy company has saved $83m annually by taking advantage of big data to run a complex energy network more efficiently, while a leading insurance company is increasing its claim fraud detection success by 8pc per quarter thanks to data analytics.
“The opportunities from data and analytics are huge and they continue to grow for several reasons,http://www.kiteaway.co.il/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=89751cheapjordanshoesfreeshipping.com/bolg,” says Ray Eitel-Porter, managing director Accenture Digital and head of big data and analytics for Accenture in the UK and Ireland.
“The techniques that are applied are increasingly sophisticated, and the speed and capability of the technology are allowing us to use methods and approaches in a business context that weren’t possible before. Finally, there is a wide variety and ever-growing amount of data available, including data produced by the internet of things [IoT].”
By 2020, 20.8 billion devices will be connected on the IoT,cheap jordans free shipping, according to analysts Gartner.
Whether it is through sensors or software, a host of “intelligent things” such as smartphones and wearables – but also domestic appliances, office machines and vehicles or buildings – are already exchanging data with each other and learning along the way.
Why artificial intelligence matters
With analytics, software is used to scour raw data to uncover hidden trends, patterns and anomalies. Not only does it offer vital business insight, it also supports the use of artificial intelligence (AI) – where computer systems perform tasks that previously required high volumes of unskilled man hours"
For its Technology Vision 2016 report, Accenture surveyed 3,100 business and IT executives in 11 countries. It found that 70pc of respondents were investing significantly more in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies than they did in 2013.
Mr Eitel-Porter cites predictive maintenance as an example of where the combination of analytics and AI will be powerful in the future. A business-critical machine could notice a fault or that scheduled maintenance is coming up, and book an appointment with the appropriate engineer automatically.
The promise of machine learning (the type of analytics,http://www.atmalikasanli.net/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=2878cheapjordanshoesfreeshipping.com/bolg, where algorithms can learn to act on data without being explicitly programmed to do so) encourages businesses to analyse massive amounts of data from a range of sources and let the machines join the dots to find new efficiencies and approaches.
The Singaporean government has already used machine learning applied to video images to assess and raise alerts in real time about potentially dangerous situations, such as an unattended bag or a fire in a subway station.
Other applications are less dramatic but no less important. Since the world’s population is projected to reach 9.7 billion by 2050,cheap jordans for sale, according to the UN, it is vital that agricultural resources are managed more effectively and crop yields improve.
As a result, says Mr Eitel-Porter, using analytics and AI in agriculture has an important social imperative, cheap retro jordans, as well as simply business implications.
Accenture Precision Agriculture Services is helping farmers to use data, sensors and connected farm equipment such as drones to detect problems, jordan shoes, plan strategically and make better operational decisions, he says.
“If a drone flies over a massive area of farmland, taking pictures, it is possible to use artificial intelligence to analyse those pictures,” says Mr Eitel-Porter. “We can look for areas in the field that may be too wet or too dry, or where the growth of the plants is stunted for some reason.
“We can see different chemical constituents in the soil and we can be far more accurate about how we treat that field, only applying fertiliser to certain areas or watering more or less.”
But while the enormous power of artificial intelligence promises a huge impact on these macro issues, cheap authentic jordans, the ability to analyse vast amounts of data in real time also has very small-scale benefits, and enables businesses to provide a “hyperpersonal” experience to customers.
Businesses are already starting to apply machine learning to vast data sets, including those related to an individual’s home, car, health, purchasing habits and social media usage.
This gives them a unique, comprehensive view of their customer that they can use to drive relevant marketing, increase customer loyalty and much more.
It could even mean that car insurers will be able to use data to both predict risk for their customers, for instance, and offer immediate and automated help at a collision scene by alerting emergency services to the accident and notifying them of any occupants’ relevant medical conditions.
Mr Eitel-Porter says that businesses stand to benefit from further innovation due to more effective links between their company’s own data and that in the wider world.
“You start with the basics and then you move onto something more sophisticated, and more sophisticated again,” he says. “With analytics and AI the journey never stops.”
