A new wildflower has become the first living species in the UK to be named
after naturalist and TV presenter Sir David Attenborough. Attenborough's
hawkweed adds another one to the number of plants and animals bearing the
name of the world-famous broadcaster, although the little plant is the first
living species in the British Isles to be named after him

From grasshoppers to the wonderfully named Attenborosaurus, here are some
other species carrying his name
