7-zip is a freeware.

The main features of 7-Zip:

You can download 7-zip from here. Unzip the downloaded file, install, and drag&drop the 7-zip directory to the plugin\files directory. You can delete the Uninstall files and the not used language files. To save space you can also use UPX with --best option.

NOTES:

1. Associations - You can create association to any of the supported file by UNCOMMENTING them in the associations part of the 7-zip.inf file.
2. If you also have a WinRar plagin, put this plugin AFTER the WinRar, by changing the 7-zip.inf to z7-zip.inf otherwise the associations will not work.
