About myself: I used to start working the potter’s wheel, and drawing and painting potteries at the famous Hódmezővásárhely potter family, Mónus as early as I was 12. I was an apprentice in Hódmezővásárhely Majolika Ceramic factory, then in 1971 I took china-painting skilled worker-examination. At the same time I started painting eggs and also decorating and painting furniture and pictures with folk, rustic motives. Then I improved and developed decorating eggs accoding to my individual ideas.
I applied and formed the folk motives by my own aspect with toothpicks and special liquid onto different kinds of eggs dyed into textile-paint.
I try to do my best to immortalize the old traditions, customs and crafts by painting decorated eggs.
My egg-decorating shows were great success at Budapest Árkád Department Store.

Many people, both adults and children could try out the technique of „hipo”. I also paint pictures on glass, which are in general about religious topics. In 2005 I gave the glass painting entitled „The Birth of Jesus” to the Hungarian Embassy in Vatikan as a gift.
