We did it again! Beta has become the National Herding Champion this year in class IV (same as trial class 2)! We had an amazing run with 110/103 points! I'm so proud of him, the only thing I'm sorry for that no video was made.

We have been planning a kennelday for a while and we finally made it! We spent a wonderful day with our (not so little) puppies and their owners, full of walking, playing and of course the younger ones have tried herding - they did so great by the way. Thank you all for coming and we hope all of you have enjoyed the time here! :) Photos in the album.

September-October 2013
We had a beautiful autumn this year, so we spent all of our freetime with our dogs to enjoy the lively and wonderful colours of the nature. Of course we did a lot of herding, Beta gained more strength and we've been fixing his faults and weaknesses, Milly did her usual daily job and Meggy has started the basics. We also have a new camera and I spent a lot of time trying it, you can see the best photos here.
On the 5th of October
we took part on a special herding trial in Rákóczifalva. Beta
got 1st place in class IV with 110/88 points, and Meggy took
the herding instinct test!

We were planning to have an austrian herding training for a long time and it has become real in the last weekend. Our friend, Vica has organized super two days full of herding at Gaaden, Kerstin Schmölz's place. At new place, with new and running sheep Beta was working better than I expected! He was very keen, fast and calm, he could control the sheep easily and held big distance, he was working with his eyes and mind. Of course, we have a lot of things to train, but I think we're on a good way - I have been confrimed in that. I'm very proud of him, he was working like a dream! :) Here is a video of the two days:

On this Saturday Izzy and Anikó was at the 1st Night Dog-Dancing
Cup and they won the 2nd place in 1st class (out of 11
competitiors)! On the tricktrial they won the 3rd place. Huge

Boomer and his owners had visited us on Sunday. We spent a beautiful day with herding a walking, it was fantastic! :) Photos are here.
Bommer has passed the BH-1 exam succesfully! Congrats! :) I got a new dog-dancing video of him:
Conroy also moved to his new home at Budapest, now he is called Domino and lives with Gabor and his family. He has a very active home, he'll never be bored as he will attending to dogschool, spending the weekends with hiking and the weekdays with a lot of walks and sports. :)

Now four puppies of seven are already at their new home. All of them are doing well, the owners keep sending me news about their daily routine, and I have to say that they've fit in very quickly. A little introduction about the new owners:
Our first traveller was the 2nd girl, Cass, who is now called Roza. She's now living in Croatia with the Plecko family and their two dogs, Mary and Kota. If everything goes well, she'll be a SAR star. :)
3rd boy, Colt. He's now living in Budapest with his owners - Joci and Réka -, and a westie boy. He'll be a sporty hobby dog, he'll have an active life full of trips and fun. :)
3rd girl, Corinne, who is now called Mézi, is also living in Budapest with Anita, Zsolt and their foxterrier girl. She'll be a sporty dog, her owners will try a lot of sports with her. :)
4th boy, Cody. He's living near to us with Alexandra and her beagle. He'll be doing agility and some other sports as well, so he'll have an active life. :)
1st girl, Camellia, who's now called Meggy. She's our new future star, owned by our kennel. She will be mostly a herding dog, but we'd like to do obedience, maybe agility with her. :)
2nd boy, Chase. He'll be living in Slovenia with Petra Jakič , but he's moving only in May. He'll have a very active life full of trips, he'll try a lot of sports, mostly agility. :)

puppies, Meggy, Conroy and Chasie, to our farm for a little walk.
Colt was also participating, so the four siblings were playing and

Time goes fast and the puppies are already 7,5 weeks old. All of them are moving to their new owners soon, so we're trying to spend as much time with them as possible. Unfortunately the weather destroyed our plans of beautiful sunshine photos, but we made some last photos of the babies. As they're growing, we can see more about their character and we like what we see so far. We're really curious about what kind of dogs will they develop. :)
The puppies had some visitors: Rory from litter A, plus Izzy and Beam from litter B. The babies like their big half-siblings very much, but the big siblings were ignoring them and didn't show much interest in playing with them. :) After the puppy-time, we went for a little herding training. I liked all of their work, they're very talented and have pure instinct, all they have to do is practice more often. :)

Puppies are already becoming 6 week old! Due the bad weather, we took them outdoor only a few times, but in the past days they had their first snow experience. :) They like playing with the toys more and more, everything is perfect for their taste, it can be a whistlingball, a plush insect, a soft twist or a simple plastic bottle. They get a lot of stimulus, as many people came to visit, they spend more time outdoor and we also train them to different noises of household devices, TV and etc. They did well so far! :)

Last
week just flew by. The puppies are growing and growing. They spend more
time out their place, they only go there for sleeping, besides this they
spend all day in our living room (of course under control and with the
appropriate safety). They're very open-minded, always looking for the
interesting happenings. They're playing with each other and their mum
all day long, they also started to play more with their toys. Of course,
sometimes our shoes and slippers are became the "victim" of their
"attack". :) They love people so much, they can hunt down everyone and
give them 'killer' kisses. In last week we took them out to our garden
at the first time, they behaved very well, they got the new noises,
smells and circumstances perfectly, this also shows their excellent
character.

The last week was very exciting fot the puppies, as they moved our from the litterbox to a new place. They get used to the new circumstances fastly, they have explored every part of the living room and the kitchen. The band is very friendly and love playing, they're not afraid of anything, they're very curious and open-minded. The first 'real' feeding went very well, they eat like true aristocrats. :) Now they've become 4 weeks old. A lot of photos and some videos were made to catch the moments for the future. :)

We made some portraits of the 3 weeks old puppies. :) If they don't sleep, then they are playing a lot with each other and it is followed by a huge noise. Their teeth are growing, they'll get theit first food soon. If anyone goes nearby to their box, they come closer to see what happens, they're really opened and curious abour everything. As they start to hear, they show a lot interest and no fear to all kind of noises. They'll move to their new place next week! The other portraits are here.

The puppies are 2 weeks
old! All of their eyes are opened in the last days, they've started to
do some "action". :) Unfotunately during photoshoot I had to use
flashlight as we had very dark days in the last week, so there weren't
any chance to make sunny photos of them. That's why their eyes are
looking weird on the portraits.

The puppies have become 1 week old today. We weighted them, the 1st and 4th males are the biggest ones, the others have the similar weight. They used to be very quiet, but now they've found their voices. :) More photos here.

The puppies are one day old. They're pretty quiet, we hear their voices rarely, such a calm band. Now they're all little dwarfs, but we can't wait to see them growing up! :) More photos here.

After a long waiting our litter "C" was born! From early noon till late afternoon Milly gave birth to seven puppies! There are 4 males and 3 females. The gang is beautiful, and they're the seven dwarfs. :) The mum and the puppies are doing well, Milly's always a great mother. I think we have to rest for a while. :)

Milly is 59 days old pregnant. I prepared everything for the puppies' birth, now we have to wait. :) I started to measure the mum's heat, you can see the results day by day below:

In this weekend Boomi and his owners visited us. We had a herding training. Boomi is quite skillful, but he should do training more often. :) I made many nice snowy photos.

Winter is here! Finally we have some snow and a lot of fun! :) The little mum is already at 53 days of her preganancy, it's only 10 more days to go! :) We're so excited!
