Sickening Newz Interview: (2005)

1. Desecrating and putrefying Hellos! How are you doing? To start out we would like to present yourself, the history of the band and the actual line-up. Do you have any other releases beside your debut Cd "Fetus"?

Properly speaking, I do the band alone a time ago. I found Frozen Blood in the winter of 2001. Previous to his 8-10 years I played guitar in Death, Grind, Thrash and Black Metal Bands. The initial line up was Amodiel (shrieks), Sirius (drums) and Me, Venom on Guitar. Late joined Aratuk (growls) and Charon (bass) to us. But who the shit cares about the past?!

In 2003 we done Fetus. Till now, this is the only published material of Frozen Blood, but soon there will be a new stuff probable.

In my opinion, in a black metal band the commitement is a very important towards the style, and this feeling missed from some of them, this is why I rarefyed the line up. I don't need peoples around me, hou only there to slack my work.

2. In Hungary there is growing UG Black Metal scene. But tell us, in this last ear, did you feel that UG Metal scene is working well there? Do metalheads get interested in the material of UG bands like Frozen Blood?

The things are changing indeed, and bands come up whith worthy materials. Unfortunately there are more less from these bands, then the lot of shit, but they are deserve the attention. But novadays every idiot starting to play and it follows from this a very mixed audience get into the scene and they only pay attention to the trends and they don't ther to take troble over for pay attention to the real undergrond. To many thing owns the Black Metal attribute but however thes trendy, experimental musics have nothing to do whit the style. I don't see any progress this way, and the approach of these peoples are not apposite!

3. Do you regard Satanism as supreme ideology of your music? What is the message you want to spread through Frozen Blood? Is Frozen Blood influenced by Nordic old school metal acts from the early 90's?

You can call it Satanizm anyway, after all what I do is can considering as Satanism. The leaders of my music is the hatered, destruction, war and the dark forces. This comes out from me! My new material is a christian slaying. Of corse I respect the true old black metal hordes, wou are based the style, because Frozen Blood is walk the same path.

4. What about foreign reactions? Do you promote your music aboard, only through your website, flyers, or is it also the task a particular label?

We haven’t got record label I do the band's promotion from the begenning. Sometimes this can be fucking tiresome, but if I pass the infos to the right places, I've got the interest. Till this time I Spread the band's Material in Hungary and just started to promote recently to foreign countries and the feedbacks are all right! I started to design a Web info page, but I hate the Internet and whole of the fuckin' products of the civilization!

5. How many times have you played line? Do any of your concerts require some specific objects, lights etc...?

The rare live shows are the bests. I don't want to be an product of the trends. I don't want my CD in a little cunt's colletion in her shelf next to any idiot group's material. They are not able to recognise what this black metal thing is all about! I don't play music for these kind of peoples. This why Frozen Blood don't gonna play live often!

If the scene still be the same as it was back about 10-15 years ago, we probably play live more often. But what I see in these days is far away from the meaning of a metal scene. Till now we played show in our country, In our gigs we wear corpse paint and nails, you got the attraction, what is reflecting the feelings of our music.

6. What is your message for the current human being? Are you into some kind of philosophy? If so, what author's book do you prefer?

Everybody can go to damned rotting! This is the only one thing I prefer. Don't need books for this, only instict feelings! This is what is missing from the peoples. They are just subordinate there self for the fuckin' things of the consumer society. Read in your self not in books! Of corse I read philozophy, psichology or books about powers what are above in our ability, and many other documents. Last time I read from Paul Henri Holbach's writings what are distastes with christianity.

7. Some metalheads have the idea that musicians live standards set by the solution, messages and atmosphere of their music. Do you think this has happend to you? Are you to some extent, a different human being?

If the musicans mentality feed back their lifestyle is an absolute positive thing. I do the same, but I Can't made this totally, cause there are laws, and it dosen't worth do anything I want, cause this way I can go to the jail.

8. What is your opinion about the after-life existence? How does this fact appear, if so, in Frozen Blood's lyrical vision?

I don't know is there any live after death. You don't know it too...

I think death is a good extreme thing. I love death, and I love war too, and I'm glad if peoples die in this fucking congested planet!

9. Do you coincide with some people who say that UG Black Metal mustn't be taken too seriously, only as a hobby to amuse ourselves? Are these people wrong?

Those who agreed with this are not right! If you do something, do it with full of your heart or don't do anything! Because the other way it's lost all the meaning! Black Metal is not for Entertaning or hobby. This is a lifestyle what is can be inside of you and therefore can take it seriously, and if this is missing don't do this, cuse you will blemish the scene!

10. Do you feel mostly, the self-destruction, freedom do thought, and loath for this world, are elements that truly show some real Black Metal thought, or just black hairs, black attire or spikes enough to belong to this scene?

Absolutely obvious who is the part of this. You talking whit a person and then watch what he can produce. This talks for itself! It can be a musican or anyone who do activites on the underground. It's important what kind of viewpoints are in a persons life. Your clothses don't say anything. But in a band this is the part of the production in a live prefirmance. But those who are not have the authenticity and dressing in black wearin all the satainc symbols are only the junks of the actual trend.

11. I know you must like old school Black Metal bands, could you list some of them? Are these some new hords that caught your ears?

My favorites are the old Darkthrone, Impaled Nazarene, the Mayhem demos, and the early recordings of Bathory and Gorgoroth. Sadley these bands are not playing those kind of hard music they did before, so I din't pay attention to there new stuffs. I HATE the new Mayhem and Dissection materials! They are peoples hou say this isn't the fall of the style, this is only progressivity but during this millions of people listening to these bands. But how can those many peoples equal to with the morbid hatefull destructive metal?! In no wise! Because they don't play metal, they play marketable music for the trends! I only listen underground black metal bands infront of my favourite old relases. For example, Watain from Sweden is a great band!

12. Before sinking into oblivion, what would you like to reach with Frozen Blood? What would you be satisfied with? Where would you like to lay most?

First of all I finish and record the new material. This will be more agressive than Fetus was! I can't play live, cause I havn't find the right musicans for my side. If I'll find the right casual players than will be live preformance too. I don't look further from this.
