What is your native language? I, for example, am from Turkey and my native language is Turkish. It was quite hard for me to learn English, but I managed to do it. Are other languages hard for you to learn?

I am from Portugal myself. I moved to the US 3 years ago. It was very hard to learn English because I spoke Portuguese all my life. I learned the language with help from http://eltai.org. I do not think I could have done it alone. Even practice did not help. I understood what was being said to me, but I could not put a sentence together to answer
