If your printer prints with lines then it is mostly because of the dirt that builds up in the ink cartridge holder. So, to clean the cartridge print head you must follow these steps:-
1. First hold the cartridge holder and then remove the ink cartridge away from it.
2. Then take some wet cotton and gently wipe the inner side of the ink holder at a position where you see the print head.
3. Then try to print again after you reinstall the ink.
