Uidai Appointment:- The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has set up a special ‘Aadhaar Seva Kendra’ or ASK as a single-stop destination for all Aadhaar services for residents. ASK will provide dedicated Aadhaar enrollment and update services to residents in a state-of-the-art environment. In the first phase of the Aadhaar Seva Kendra project, UIDAI plans to set up 114 Aadhaar Seva Kendras in 53 cities in India. These include dedicated centers in all metro cities, all state capitals, and union territories. ASK will go hand in hand with over 35,000 Aadhaar centers already run by banks, post off ices, BSNL, and state governments.

Aadhaar Services available at Aadhaar Seva Kendra
Aadhaar Seva Kendra offers a comfortable air-conditioned environment to residents. All ASK are wheelchair friendly and have special facilities provided to service the elderly or specially-abled. ASK are open all 7 days of the week from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (IST).
Residents can visit any comfortable Aadhaar Seva Kendra for the following services:
• Aadhaar Enrolment
• Update of any Demographic Information in their Aadhaar – Name, Address, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile number, or Email Id
• Update of Biometric data in their Aadhaar – Photo, Fingerprints, and Iris Scans
• Download & Print Aadhaar
These services are available for any resident of India (including NRIs) at any Aadhaar Seva Kendra across the country.

Online Appointment for Aadhaar Services
Along with the Aadhaar Seva Kendra project, UIDAI launched an online appointment booking facility for residents. All UIDAI-run Aadhaar Seva Kendra follow the online appointment system where any resident can book an appointment for Aadhaar enrolment or update at any ASK.
Any resident can book an appointment for themselves or a family member from https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/bookappointment.aspx. This is a free-of-cost service where a resident does not demand Aadhaar registered mobile number. One resident can book a maximum of 4 appointments in a month.
Other Aadhaar Kendras are available in Banks, Post offices, State Government offices, and BSNL Centres and are also being on-boarded to the Online Appointment System.
Service Process at Aadhaar Service Center
As per city defined model, the base service center has 4/8/16 operator stations with a capacity to handle 250/500/1000 service requests per day.
ASK follows an Online Appointment Management System (AMS) for residents who choose to book their appointment before visiting ASK and an Automated Token System (TMS) for residents who visit ASK. The last token of the day is given daily at 5:30 PM

UIDAI has defined the fee to be paid by any resident. Desirous of availing of Aadhaar services at any Aadhaar service center of his choice. These:
• Aadhaar Enrollment: Free
• Mandatory biometric update for children (at the age of 5 and 15): Free
• Any biometric update with or without demographic update: Rs 100 Demographic updation by residents only: Rs. 50
• Download Aadhaar & Color Print: Rs. 30
• *Update of more than one field on the same instance will be considered one update

These charges are inclusive of all applicable taxes. Residents can make payments at the ‘Cash Counter’ available at ASK or make online payments (to be launching soon). While booking an online appointment from the UIDAI website.
How can I schedule an appointment for my Aadhaar card?
Any resident can book an appointment for himself or a family member from https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/bookappointment.aspx. This is a free service where the resident does not need an Aadhaar-registered mobile number. However, a resident can book a maximum of 4 appointments in a month.
Is it necessary to book an appointment for Aadhaar update?
You need to book an appointment by choosing a particular date and time slot. These ASKs have the capacity to handle 1,000 enrollment and update requests every day, according to a UIDAI release.

Can I change my Aadhaar appointment online?
Yes, you can reschedule the appointment by logging in to the appointment portal with the same mobile number/email ID (as provided earlier).
How to Download Aadhaar Appointment Letter with Reference Number?
Visit www.uidai.gov.in and click on “Check Your Aadhaar Status” from the right menu bar located under UIDAI Eco System > Residents. This page will take you to a form that will ask for your Enrollment ID as well as the date and time stamp printed on your Acknowledgment/Resident Copy Slip.

What is the enrollment number of UIDAI?
