Hey fellow travelers, I just flew out of LAX on Hawaiian Airlines and wanted to share my experience navigating the new digs at Terminal B (aka the Tom Bradley International Terminal). Buckle up, because it's got its quirks!

Good news:

Modern and spacious: hawaiian airlines terminal at lax is definitely a step up from Terminal 5. It's bright, airy, and feels less crowded.
More amenities: Tons of shops, restaurants, and even a spa! You'll find familiar faves like California Pizza Kitchen and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, alongside local gems like Blue Bottle Coffee.
Hawaiian vibes: From the plumeria leis greeting you on arrival to the soothing ukulele music, they've sprinkled the terminal with island touches. I swear I could almost smell plumeria!
Heads up:

West Gates walkathon: Be prepared for a trek! Gates 201-225, where most Hawaiian flights depart, are in the West Gates building connected by a long tunnel. Allow 15-20 minutes of walking after clearing security, especially if you're schlepping luggage.
Food pitfall: Don't bank on grabbing food near the West Gates. Most options are in the main terminal, so stock up before venturing out.
Check-in queues: Hawaiian check-in lines can get long, even with online check-in. Factor in extra time, especially during peak hours.
Overall:

Despite the walking marathon, I enjoyed my experience at Terminal B. It's a definite upgrade from the old digs, and the island vibes help get you in the vacation mood. Just be prepared with comfy shoes and a plan for sustenance!

Bonus tips:

Download the LAX app for real-time security wait times and gate information.
Take advantage of the free baggage storage near the Tom Bradley statue if you have a layover.
If you're tight on time, consider using the Tom Bradley International Terminal Automated People Mover (APM) to zip between the main terminal and West Gates building.
