Curly hair is fun, sexy, and gorgeous. It can be temperamental and challenging at times, but it's worth it.

I've been a curly girl my entire life — I'm lucky to have parents who love their natural texture and didn't try to straighten or relax it. They encouraged me to embrace my curls when I was younger. As a result, I never fully understood what it was like to have straight hair until I was in college and was able to relax my hair for the first time. It was quite an experience!

For me, there are many benefits of having naturally curly hair:

It's easier to manage daily than straight hair because you don't have to worry about drying time or heat damage (although you still need to use heat protectant product)

Curly hair is healthier than straight hair because it doesn't get as much styling damage from blow-dryers and hot irons (although you still need to use the heat-protectant product)

You'll save money on shampoo and conditioner since you only need one type of product for both your scalp and your tresses.
