Manchester United's sale process is set for a third round, with bidders expected to submit their final offers by the end of April. According to reports, Raine Group - the firm overseeing the sale - has requested rival bidders submit their offers before then.

Neville: Glazers are making it up as they go along

On Saturday after United's 3-0 loss to Brentford in the Premier League, Neville made a bold attack against the Glazer family's ownership of the club. He went on to say that while United may have more cash in their pockets now than when he played at Old Trafford, that shouldn't be used as an excuse for their declining performances as a team.
The Glazers have come under scrutiny since their 2005 leveraged takeover, which left the club with enormous debt that they are still repaying. While they spent PS200m on new players this summer, commercial revenues have decreased and Old Trafford facilities lag behind those at rivals Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
Meanwhile, ticket prices have gone up - which isn't ideal for the Glazers who need money to improve Old Trafford and their training ground.

Neville is skeptical of the Glazer family's intentions and believes they are making up information as they go along. He's especially worried that they haven't reached out to their fans or engaged them regarding potential new owners. Neville believes that responsible owners would keep their fans informed on developments; therefore, he urges the Glazers to do so.

Neville: Glazers are classless

Man Utd legend Gary Neville has launched a blistering attack on the Glazer family as the takeover process enters a third round of bidding. He believes they lack class and risk a "toxic" backlash from fans if they remain at Old Trafford.
Last November, the American family put the club up for sale. So far only two bidders have emerged - Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS and Qatari Sheikh Jassim Bin Al Thani. These offers are estimated to be worth PS5billion but unlikely to meet the US family's reported demands of around PS6bn.
Neville is furious with the recent developments and has urged the Americans to sell Man Utd quickly in order for a new owner to have an impact on the summer transfer window. Failure to do so could see United under Erik ten Hag lose their top-four aspirations next season, while delaying could also mean missing out on key player renewals.
Neville believes it's essential to get the Glazers out of the club before it becomes too late. He insists they cannot run it themselves given all their debt, so investors will need to come in to help finance operations.

Neville: Glazers are desperate

In recent years, fans at United have frequently criticized The Glazers for allegedly accruing an enormous debt that they cannot repay.
Gary Neville has called on the family to sell United, asserting that its American owners are desperate and in need of assistance.
Neville, a former Manchester United defender and Sky Sports pundit, has stated that new investment must come to Old Trafford and the Glazers must leave. He desires an orderly exit for their US-based family as well as an owner who will invest in winning football, facilities, debt free operations and fan experience.
He has also called upon the Glazers to visit Manchester and share their vision for the club. He stated that they must 'come here, show a manifesto, and discuss what we all want'.

Since 2005, the current Glazer family has been in control of Manchester United but their reign has been marred by fan protests, debt and an on-field decline. They owe PS204 million which they cannot repay and have failed to win any trophy since Ferguson's final season in 2012/2013.
