There is no point in buying an apartment in resort towns to rent it out. If you take it only in the summer, you will suffer. You will rent for 7-10 days to one client; that is, you need to recruit 10-15 clients over the entire summer. The apartment must be cleaned after the tenants (and during their stay), insured, and ensured that nothing is stolen, destroyed, etc. For the entire summer, maximum, you can earn 1.5-2 thousand (well, that is, the season is about 90 days - mid-June to mid-September). Rent on average 70 euros per day. If you are lucky, you will live in the apartment for 50-60 days out of 90. This is approximately 4 thousand euros. Minus cleaning, minus insurance, minus taxes, minus agencies, minus this and that - in short, just 1.5-2 thousand will be clean). In the off-season (count the rest of the time except summer), renting out an apartment will be problematic. In resort towns, there are usually a lot of offers but few tenants. So, the point of such a purchase is only to buy it for investment purposes and expect the apartment to become more expensive in 10-15 years. However, only some things are so bad with real estate and renting it out. There is an excellent option when you pay only the initial payment for the apartment, and further rental will cover the entire mortgage cost. On the website Spain-Real.Estate you can find different options to purchase for investment purposes.
