I have been in a relationship for 2 years. My boyfriend parent's are against this relation now, Initially they were okay with it but when we all decided to meet each others family, suddenly my BF parents turned totally against this relation.

I think they didn't like my parents or me. My boyfriend is trying everything to convince his parents but he cannot leave them for me. And I also want his parents approval. We both believe that parents shall accept our relation, that's why we informed each other parents one year before. Though my parents agreed but now his parents are completely against. What shall I do?

I understand your situation. I believe it is difficult to assume others perception. Relationship are reflections of our emotions , we should take time to make it stable. Give him some time to understand the situation. Parents are always concern about their children's happiness. May be there is something disturbing them. Let him resolve the disturbance. It is better to clear everything before initiating parental involvement. Have faith on yourself. You both can resolve the situation. Take care.

Its good to see you both trying to convince your parents on this. As i could notice things have turned bit unfavorable after your parents decided to meet each other's family. There might be something which is bothering your boyfriend's parents. Why don't you join with your boyfriend and try to talk to his parents. Either you could wait for some more time or you could talk to his parents.

Thanks for your support. The actual issue is that his parents are not ready to listen to anything. They are even telling him to say NO to me and my family directly. In such situation even if i try to talk to them, they wl say No. My BF knows dis thing and thats why he is not telling me to talk to them. I dont know if he can resolve this and when his parents dont want to even listen to another person, how to approach this matter then?

Don't do others what you don't want to be done to you. I hate it if others read through my accounts, so I never do that to someone else. That includes pestering them for passwords. Some may argue that it's okay to play dirty if the other side does the same thing, but I don't want to go that far. relationship problems
