Looking for information about the e tourist visa now available for US citizens to enter India. It states that "biometric information" will be collected upon arrival at the airport in India. What biometric information is collected and how long did it take? Should we plan an extra long layover in the Delhi airport for this process?

Apply online and pay fee and await approval. Check visa status and download approval. At the airport they will scan prints and eyes which was quick at Mumbai. Can’t talk about other entrance points

Having problems uploading passport page from photo library it has been changed to a PDF but keeps saying it's not, anyone have any ideas. Thanks NIGHTMARE

I didn’t i think from Crome from the US about two weeks ago and it worked. For me i had to play around to get the correct size but it worked. You are also using the official govt site right? |

The Tamil Nadu government have launched a scheme of converting ration cards of all the residents of the Tamil Nadu
into the smart card so that access of the service can be made easier for the users/ applicants. The scheme was launched to provide the digital ration card so that they can be stored for a long time causing no wear and tear as happen in the ordinary paper made cards. The government will provide these e-cards to everyone means not only the new user but also who already have their ration cards.
