Incomporable puppies from Soft-coated wheaten terrier  family in Hungary. This
kind of  middle size terrier is the most rare int he world. Although they are
very intelligent, and they like children. But if necessary, they protect the
family and owner with a strong will.  Unfortunately they almost disappeared
int he II. world war. 

The day-to-day life of the parents:

I would like to mention a few words about my dogs that you can see ont he
photos. They are part of a 5 member dog flock. The boar and the bitch both 
share  their days with a 14 year old tiger stripe cat. Although they live in a
family house with garden, they sleep at night int he house. Each of them has
their own room shared with a human, it is natural for them. Our dogs are our
family members.

Short history: the story of the Irish soft coated wheaton terrier cannot be written unambiguously because of the close relationship with the other Irish
terriers. They are likely one of the 4 most ancient irish terriers. Written memories about dogs make it clear that they exist for at least 200 years. It’s
affinity with the modern Irish terrier seems to be a vell planned experiment,however not much is mentioned about it int he books.  So the forefathers of
the wheaton terrier known today are rather varied. In spite of its long history the Irish Kennel Club recognised this kind in the early 30’s. Since
then it is getting more and more popular. It is very well known in England and the USA, and known in other countries as well.
Common appearence: Hard, active dog, short groin, strong impression, not too long legs, nor too close to the ground, with good build-up.
