As of 2019, Microsoft's personal assistant Cortana GAME SANOOK has allowed you to listen to emails sent to your mobile Outlook inbox. Nearly two years later, Microsoft is making audio an integral part of the Outlook experience. Starting with the iOS (along with Android) version of the software, you can use your voice to customize email. schedule a meeting and perform a search

To access new Outlook capabilities, tap the plus icon floating above the app's main navigation bar and press "Use Voice." You can ask Cortana, for example, "When's the next team meeting?" or for a request. More complex ones, such as "Hold a meeting with Jill and her team next Monday on the Q1 budget" when you schedule an event. You can also ask the contributor to add specific people to the invitation. You can also use Cortana to add attachments to your email. And the speech-to-text tool lets you reply to emails and compose new emails.

Empowering many of the functionality is Microsoft's Graph tool, which provides context to the Assistant when needed. That information helps Cortana do things like spell your coworker's name correctly when you mention them in an email.

As The Verge points out, today's announcement coincides with Microsoft's broad push to restructure Cortana as a productivity assistant instead of its Alexa and Google Assistant rivals. App Cortana iOS and Android
