Érdekesség: a dalban szereplő basszus nem basszusgitárból vagy szintetizátorból származik, az Jay hangja, amely egy Helicon nevű hang-szintézises kütyüvel sikerült ilyenre. A géppel Jay még az A Funk Odyssey vége felé kísérletezett, és érdekesnek tartotta a végeredményt, ami leginkább Barry White hangjára emlékeztette. A Dynamite készítésénél azonban ezt a mintát újból elővették és felhasználták a dalhoz basszusként, ilyet eddig még senki nem csinált, hogy emberi hangot használt volna fel basszusként.
