Már megint eltelt egy év.....és Zselic Kupa Szigetvár

16 csapatos nemzetközi utánpótlástornán szerepelt a 98/99-es csapatunk Szigetváron.

Hat meccset játszottunk, ötöt nyertünk, mégis csak az ötödik helyen végeztünk. Részletek...

A 98-as csapat a két Tötti nélkül

A Vasas Akadémia két csapattal érkezett, "B" csapatával kezdtünk, 3-2 ide. A Szigetvárt 5-0-ra hoztuk, majd belegyalogoltunk egy pécsi vereségbe 1-4. 2. helyen tovább jutottunk, és a PMFC mellé a csoportunkba jött a Kaposvár, akik mindjárt 4-0-ra megverték a Pécset, és a Zágráb.

A horvátokat 3-0-ra, a Kaposvárt 2-1-re vertük, a PMFC-Zágráb 2-1 lett. Így hármas körbeverés volt a csoportban. A kiírás szerint a horvátok elleni meccsnem számított, így egymás elleni legrosszabb gólaránnyal a 3. helyre csúsztunk. A Kaposvár játszotta a döntőt, mi az 5. helyért léptünk pályára a Csepeli Halászi focisuli ellen, 9-1-el zártuk a tornát.( a csepeliek 9 ponttal jutottak tovább a selejtezőből)
