In the kingdom of sand

On a faraway land

Where dust is the lord

I cry my demand

I kneel on the ground

Hoping to be found

By the glowing red twilight

Or a bloodthirsty hound

I seek for the light

In the cold desert night

I seek for glory

But I fear to fight

There's no god to help me

And no fellows I can see

On my empty battlefield

I'm longing for thee

Come twilight in the cold night

I seek for light to give me might

Give me might to walk my path

Dawn, dawn, dawn, my cover is blown

And the hollow darkness within is shown

Give me shadows to hide

Or show me who's on my side

I need a fellow to fill the hollow

Inside, scars opened wide, I cannot hide

Why should I wander alone

If my dark memories are already gone

Dawn, dawn, dawn, give me the crown

As my immortal blood is shown

I will be the lord of twilight

I have my dreams

Even in these dead realms

As this world is more

Beautiful than it seems

It seems to be obscure

A nightmare of blur

But when twilight comes

Its beauty will occur

There will be no lights

There won't be more vice

For our mortal pleasures

We won't have to pay a price

In the twilight

We won't have to fight

As we will all leave

The long-lasting night

When twilight comes I will drop some tears

For my memories, for the ended fears

I will remember you even in the light

I will think of you when hope is out of sight

I will still wander the realms

Of my nightmares, of my dreams

Which remained mine after the night

As yesterday was burned by twilight
