Dr. Rafii’s dedication to learning and scholarly excellence has helped him to excel at elite institutions throughout his academic career. After attending UCLA on a full academic scholarship and receiving his medical degree from Stanford University, he completed his residency training in otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat surgery) at New York University in Manhattan. In order to further develop his expertise in vocal care, he then completed a fellowship in Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice at the UCLA Voice Center for Medicine and the Arts, thus joining an exclusive group of only a handful of doctors across the country who specialize in treating disorders of the voice and throat.

Dr. Rafii’s specialized training and commitment to individually tailored care make him uniquely qualified to care for people who demand the most from their voice, including performing artists, teachers, businesspeople, and so many others who rely on their voice for their livelihood and their self-expression.
