To Perform Umrah is a significant spiritual journey for Muslims, often referred to as the lesser pilgrimage. Unlike Hajj, Umrah can be undertaken at any time of the year. The journey begins with the intention, or niyyah, to perform the pilgrimage. Pilgrims enter a state of ihram, donning simple white garments that symbolize purity and equality.
The rituals include Tawaf, where pilgrims circle the Kaaba seven times, and Sa'i, walking between the hills of Safa and Marwah. This sacred experience fosters a deep connection with faith, allowing individuals to seek forgiveness, blessings, and spiritual renewal. |
