Apple has launched a new form of emoji that can be customised using facial recognition software: it’s called animoji.
Users will be able to scan their face and the animoji will match their expression in a short animation.
The feature will only be available on the premium

No home button

Apple has ditched the home button on the iPhone X, pronounced "iPhone 10".
To unlock the device users just have to swipe up from the bottom of the screen. The same movement takes them back to the home screen and lets users multi-task.
Siri can also help users navigate without a home button. The iPhone X unlocks using new facial recognition technology called Face ID.
The home button has been a feature of every iPhone since the original in 2007, but Apple are now in a position to get rid of it.
It has already introduced advanced pressure-detection technology with 3D Touch, and last year's iPhone 7 had a solid-state home button that vibrates instead of clicks.

One of the biggest features on the new iPhone X flagship device is the introduction of facial recognition software.
The Cupertino-based company has ditched its Touch ID on the tenth anniversary premium device in favour of Face ID.
“Face ID is the future of how we unlock iPhones and protect sensitive information,” say Apple.
“Every time you glance at iPhone X, it detects your face with an IR image, the dot projector projects IR dots, the image and the dot pattern create a mathematical model of your face, which is checked against the one you make when you set it up. And it unlocks the phone in real-time.”

Speculation about facial recognition being incorporated into the iPhone has been circulating since 2013 when Apple filed a patent for the technology.
The iPhone X's new FaceID is used to unlock the device, authenticate Apple Pay and create the customisable animated emoji.
Apple says the 3D front-facing camera learns what users look like and is only inaccurate one in 1 million times.
Boarding the Royal Duffy, a small boat that pootles from the mainland across almost unbelievably blue-green clear waters, there is a palpable sense of leaving behind the thrum of resort life in
Jamaica’s Montego Bay.
As we advanced closer to our destination,
cheap real jordans, just a few minutes’ ride away, the thatched villas and bungalows perched seemingly precariously on stilts in that beautiful sea came better into focus,
cheap jordans, and were suddenly standing firm and proud as we glided up in front of them.
I had arrived at
Sandals Royal Caribbean’s new overwater bungalows,http://www.pzymxx.com/wygkcn_GuestBook.aspcheapjordanshoesfreeshipping.com/bolg,
cheap authentic jordans, which sit on one side of the resort’s private islet in
Montego Bay and, along with overwater villas opened in December, constitute the
Caribbean’s first accommodation of this type. The group is fast expanding the trend, with bungalows due to open at its Grande St Lucian and South Coast Jamaica properties this month and autumn 2017 respectively.

The villas' centrepiece is a glass floor panel giving a direct window to the ocean beneath
It’s a new, unique offering from Sandals in this part of the world; a level of previously untapped luxury and exclusivity in the similarly unchartered locale of the ocean. This kind of accommodation has been popularised by places like the
Maldives, that tropical idyll so popular with honeymooners. They are certainly the target market here at the couples-only Royal Caribbean, which has the added attraction of being a slightly more affordable option than some farther-flung destinations.
The 12 bungalows and five villas share the islet with one of the resort’s beaches and several of its restaurants, accessible via a wooden walkway that connects the accommodation to a heart-shaped enclosure; an attractive feature at night when illuminated from below. Interiors have a suitably beachy feel throughout; plenty of wood, natural-effect materials and light blue tones that blur the fine boundary of the floor-to-ceiling glass doors separating you from the sea and sky just outside.

Through the doors out onto the deck are two loungers for catching rays (the solar kind)
Beds are stupendously comfortable, framed by free-carved, chunky wooden headboards, and there are wicker armchairs perfect for reclining in with a nightcap. Bathrooms are open-plan, with pebble-shaped double marble sinks at one end of the room, and a walk-in rain shower enveloped in cool, sea-coloured mosaic tiles. Underwater photographs and a cobalt rug complement the sense of place.
The centrepiece though is a glass floor panel giving a direct window to the ocean beneath. Once I had overcome my fear of walking over it, the anticipation of potential sightings became a source of entertainment – I saw shoals of fish, but other beady-eyed guests reported spotting rays in the early hours of the morning.
Through the doors and out onto the deck is where the bungalows really come into their own. There are two loungers for catching rays (the solar kind) and, better still, next to them, a giant hammock suspended directly over the sea, offering real connection to one’s surroundings and perfect for watching sunsets.

A chest contains snorkelling gear, so guests can pop down the stairs leading straight into the sea and get sealife spotting. The deck can also be accessed via the (indoor) shower, which leads to an outdoor shower and beyond it, right on the edge, a huge, circular bathtub in which to quite literally soak up the view.
The overwater villas, as well as having more room than the bungalows, which suffer slightly from a lack of storage space, have small infinity pools on their decks, and are the higher of the two accommodation categories. They also look directly out to sea (although some are affected by low tides beneath them).
The bungalows closest to them benefit from not facing the neighbouring resort back on the mainland, which caters to a more hedonistic crowd, playing loud music at night and chartering party catamarans several times throughout the afternoons.

The other significant feature of both the bungalows and villas is the butler service, which is pitched just right – relatively informal and genuinely warm and friendly, not to mention intuitive; a tempting snack usually appeared just as hunger set in.
Two butlers on rotation are contactable by a designated smartphone and responsible for organising dinner and spa reservations, in-room (romantic private meals are available) or beach/poolside dining during the day, arranging boat transport to the mainland, serving drinks, reserving prime day beds with a stocked cooler, and generally attending to their designated guests’ every whim (including fetching fresh coconuts from the market to drink from).
Kitchenettes are equipped with a capsule coffee machine, kettle, fridge kept stocked according to guests’ preferences, and minibar of premium spirits (both included).

There's lots for couples to enjoy together, from snorkelling or diving at the nearby reef, and sailing (guided or unguided), to couples’ massages
Elsewhere, food is above average; the Regency breakfast buffet is a good spread featuring fresh fruit, smoothies, hot dishes including ackee and saltfish (the national Jamaican dish), decent scrambled eggs, and pancakes. The jerk meat and requisite sides at the Jerk Shack is surprisingly authentic and makes for a great lunch.
Cocktails are generally of the slushy variety but order off-menu (or specials in restaurants) and one can find some nicer, fresher offerings, like mango daiquiris. Dinner options are plentiful and include seafood and Caribbean dishes. The waterfront Regency on the mainland looks across to the private islet and at night is romantically lit with flaming torches. The signature Eleanor’s is a bit more lively.
The key advantage of the overwater bungalows and villas, particularly for honeymooners, is the seclusion they offer couples when not immersing themselves in everything else the 237-room resort has to offer.
This is considerable, with lots to enjoy together, from snorkelling or diving at the nearby reef, and sailing (guided or unguided), to couples’ massages at either the Red Lane Spa, in-room or in a beachfront cabana looking out onto the sea, with the most inviting bathtub for post-treatment soaking I have ever seen.
There are myriad adventures to be had outside the resort too, including horse-riding at Chukka Cove, which ends with a dash through the sea. That’s if you can muster the strength to leave the overwater hammock.
