,http://www.elllo.org/graphics/cheapjordanshoesfreeshipping.com/bolgAndrew Morris wins ,cheap air jordans?200 for this account of the culinary delights he found in the mountains of north-west Greece

Joanna pulls me into the kitchen before dinner. A necklace of walnuts has been coated in grape must, rolled in flour and “boiled with ash” – charcoal? – before being strung up on a makeshift washing line.

She leads me down to the boiler room, where several pieces of nutty jewellery – zmpeki – hang for five or six days, to soften and infuse before being offered to guests.

Tradition echoes everywhere in the Thoukididis guesthouse,http://www.qdtongyun.com/qingdao/E_GuestBook.aspcheapjordanshoesfreeshipping.com/bolg, in the stone village of Kapesovo, cheap jordans free shipping, one of 46 settlements known as the Zagorohoria, cheap jordans, high in the Pindus Mountains of Epirus in north-west Greece. Restored by Joanna’s father over eight years, cheap jordan shoes, the guesthouse is a faithful reproduction of a 19th-century Zagorian merchant’s home.

You can taste the pride and love in every dish Joanna serves up in the small restaurant. Gigantes plaki – giant white beans – arrive,http://users.atw.hu/as-esport/index.php?site=forum_topic&topic=17476cheapjordanshoesfreeshipping.com/bolg,jordans for cheap, with spinach, leeks, cheap jordans online, sorrel, spearmint and parsley from the garden.

“My father’s mother came from Turkey,” Joanna tells me the next evening. “I like to combine the cultures in my cooking.” Zucchini fritters with yogurt appear, sprinkled with parsley and dill; stuffed tomatoes with rice; minced meat, mashed potatoes and porcini mushrooms, foraged earlier from the side of a mountain track.

Historically, the Zagorian region relied on family members sending money back from where they found work – Turkey, Egypt, southern Greece – to survive. But some villagers are slowly embracing independence, proud to share their heritage with outsiders.

After dinner, I wander down the narrow stone alleyways to the plateia, the heart of the village and inevitably shaded by the vast, gnarled limbs of an ancient plane tree.

I’m welcomed here by Joanna’s mother and father, at Sterna. The tiny shop is named after the 40ft-deep well, built to collect rainwater, now an illuminated feature. I’m offered tsipouro, an ouzo-style pomace brandy, then liqueurs made from local walnuts, cranberries, figs, and bitter orange infused with coffee beans.

During the daytime, try home-made lemonade or sour cherry juice, served in wide-rimmed jam jars. Or buy mountain tea, foraged from near Kapesovo and sheafed like an archer’s quiver.

My final breakfast from Joanna is a banana and peach smoothie; a fried egg, with ham wrapped around grilled cheese; then home-made bread, jams and cake.

I leave Kapesovo reluctantly. But as I begin to climb the 1,200 ancient stone steps towards the next village of Vradeto, I smile and wonder whether the packed lunch in my rucksack might include a piece of peach cake.

The one thing we have come to expect from H&M's designer collaborations is long queues and scrums at the tills, but today's launch of Kenzo's capsule collection in London was a more civilised scene than in previous years. Instead of a frenzied panic, shoppers were given wristbands and could leave the queue and then return at their allotted time.

Even so, a number of shoppers were prepared for every eventuality and camped overnight or queued for over eight hours to ensure they could buy Kenzo's signature vibrant prints at high street prices. "I arrived yesterday at 6pm and have queued for fifteen hours," says Nancy, 20, who queued at the H&M store at Oxford Circus. "I really like the high heels, leather jacket and pink coat. There wasn't a huge queue- about 30 of us overnight, and then more arrived at about 3am." Another shopper in the queue adds: "I got here at 3am, but it was very calm because there was a system where you could leave and come back."

"I joined the queue at 2.30am, and I had a strategy and decided if it was busy here I'd go to High Street Kensington but it was empty here so I decided to stay here," says Moha, 26, from the Regent Street queue. As for why it was worth arriving at 2.30am, he explained that the queue is part of the appeal: "I think it's nice when you wear it and people know you have strived for it, no amount of money can give it to you at any time. It's like wearing your stripes and makes it more special."

The real queues were online at hm.com, where the site was down throughout the morning.

Some background on the collection

In 2011 Lim and Leon, the founders of concept store Opening Ceremony, took the helm at the Paris-based label and modernised the house with luxe-streetwear, bold graphic prints and cult embroidered tiger sweatshirts.

The H&M designer collaborations are always a huge operation, with images strategically released months ahead of the drop to ensure maximum hype. The H&M promo machine once again went into overdrive; pictures of every single product in the collection were released weeks in advance and the key pieces were strategically worn by celebrities like Jessica Alba and Lupita Nyong'o in the run-up to today's launch.

What's in the collection?

As you'd expect it's a riot of colour and print, but among the pink zebra print leggings, neon leopard ra-ra skirts, furry flip flops and zebra print stiletto boots are a number of very wearable pieces. The navy knitted jumper with colourful emblems, khaki parka coat, navy zip-up bomber jacket and winter floral dresses are key buys for those not looking to dress in the head-to-toe jungle prints.

What do Carol Kim and Humberto Leon have to say about the collection?

The creative directors revealed to Vogue that the Kenzo archive has informed the collection in subtle ways.

H&M's Ann-Sofie Johansson with Carol Lim and Humberto Leon

"In the five years that Carol and I have been at Kenzo, we’ve wanted to make sure that our customers know that we didn’t invent this brand," Leon explains to Vogue. "We’re almost hitting the 50th anniversary,Kicksokok.com. What Kenzo Takada began was so revolutionary; it’s what attracted us to the brand to begin with, jordan shoes. The idea is to celebrate where he began and where we’ve taken it—not only the archive of what he did but what we’ve worked on. We’re taking a look at how the two can merge in a true conversation."

Leon added: "There’s a femininity, there’s fun. There’s a tactile approach to techniques and embroideries, embellishments. Those are things he worked hard on. But it’s not how any of the other French houses approached it. He was very youthful in his technique."

Which stars have worn Kenzo in the past?

In 2013 you couldn't go anywhere at fashion week without spotting Kenzo's embroidered tiger sweatshirts, phone cases and even loafers. Everyone from the models to the front row stars were splattered in Kenzo's signature slogans. Solange Knowles is a permanent fixture on the front row at Kenzo, as she is a friend of the designers and acts as an unofficial brand ambassador. Knowles has accompanied the designers to the Met Gala and got married in a white Humberto Leon for Kenzo gown.

Who have H&M collaborated with in the past - and how have they performed?

H&M's designer collaborations have become a huge fashion event each year, and its previous pair-ups have included Lanvin, Alexander Wang, Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Versace and Isabel Marant. Last year's collection with Balmain's Olivier Rousteing was the best-selling collection to date with stores descending into 'got-to-buy-it-all' chaos, although H&M declined to disclose exact figures.

The huge success of Olivier Rousteing's collection was credited to his huge following on social media (3.2 million followers and counting) and his loyal army of celebrities and supermodels, from Kendall Jenner to Jourdan Dunn, who all supported the collection.

In the five years that Opening Ceremony founders Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have been at Kenzo they have also established a strong celebrity fan base, including Rihanna, Beyonce and Alexa Chung, and a powerful social media presence, with 1.2 million followers. All the makings of another H&M success story...
