My description-poor data on his relationships *sweatdrops*... because I can't
get my mind into writing a propper relationship description u_u;.
Note: The below info is based on GS only (for now).

Kira & Athrun These two are childhood friends. They've known eachother from their early 4-5 years of age. When Athrun left the moon to his father's request (10 years old), he gave Kira a robotic bird named "Tori", which Kira kept at him all the time. Later on, they meet again, this time Athrun as his enemy, a Coordinator and Kira as a "protector" of Archangel (Earth Alliance). Thus they have numerous encounters and are forced to battle one against the other, with casualties on each side (ie. Miguel). |

Kira & Lacus Kira and Lacus first met after he (saved her) found her in a lifepod. Due to the crew's non-friendly attitude towards Lacus, Kira was the only one who visited her in her room and talked to her. Thus a bond was created between the two. After Athrun and Kira's battle, Athrun was injured and Kira, though thought dead, was rescued by Lacus. She helped him get better, offering him support and comfort. Later on, when Lacus "betrayed" ZAFT, there took place further interaction between the two. |

Kira & Fllay The relationship between these two is pretty complicated. Kira first had a crush on Fllay (from the beginning of Seed), who in change was pretty much over Sai. After her father died (because of Kira), she wanted to get her revenge by making him fall in love with her and battle (to protect her) until he does. That was the only way she could forgive him. Later on, they broke up: (episode 28) due to the fact that everybody's parents came, Kira didn't go, so Fllay thought he pitied her, and they got into an argue, Kira saying they can't go on. At the end of Gundam Seed, Fllay realizes she loves him but before she can say anything, she dies tragicly. |

Kira & Cagalli (siblings) Kira first meets Cagalli in episode one, when he helps her get rescued, endangering himself instead. They meet again around episode 15, when the Archangel lands in the desert. Their relationship grows stronger throughout the series. The default brother-sister relationship is obvious here, as Cagalli admits she is the older one, acts protective over him and acts like a big sister most of the time. |
