Kifejezetten fagyérzékeny nemzetség. A tökéletesen
száraz talaj mellett lényeges a telelőhely alacsony páratartalma.
2009.: A
téli belső fólia bontása igazi meglepetést hozott. A
C. odorata tövisek nélkül alig 1 cm-es példányai
teljes virágpompában díszelegtek. Abban sem bíztam,
hogy áttelelnek. A fajlista szerintem ennek ellenére
tovább csökken, néhány példány elég rossz
állapotban van.
2010. 03. 28. :
Nem vesztettem növényt, a halom C. odorata ismét
megrakódott virággal, bár sokat nem nőttek. Néhány
Coryphantha példány részlegesen sérült, de nem
veszélyes. A belső fólia egy helyen nem ért a
hőszigetelő borításra rendesen (feltételezem), mert
egy helyen volt tömeges kaktuszelfagyás, itt sérült
néhány Coryphantha.
2011.
11. 09.: Tavasszal nem volt veszteségem. További Coryphantha
fajok beszerzését nem tervezem. Sok növényről nem készült fotó, sajnos
ezt már nem áll módomban pótolni.
