1. Download http://www.prism.gatech.edu/~gte899z/scripts/UT2k4.zip to your mIRC directory.
If you do not know where your mIRC directory is, type in mIRC: //run $mircdir
2. Browse to your mIRC directory and find the zip file you downloaded.
3. Extract the contents of the zip to your mIRC folder
The files should be extracted to its own folder.
If this is not the case, create a new directory called: UT2k4
Then proceed to extract the file to the new folder you created.
4. UT2k4 directory either you have created or was created when you unzipped the file.
5. The UT2k4 directory should contain these files:
6. The readme file. Follow the directions.
In mIRC, type: /load -rs UT2k4\sb2k4.mrc
7. After loading the serverbrowser, mIRC will ask you if you want run Initialized Commands.
CLICK YES
8. After clicking yes, you will be asked for your UT2004.ini location.
You can type it in manually, or you can click the Search button.
9. If you click the search button, a window like the one below will show up.
Find your UT2004 system folder and then click OK.
10. If you have indicated the correct location of your UT2004.ini, you will be told the file
was found. Click OK to finish Setup.
11. Now you can load your UT2k4 Serverbrowser and Cache Manager. Right click in any channel window.
A menu will appear, look for UT2k4.
12. Here is what the UT2k4 Serverbrowser looks like:
To view player information for a specific server, click on the server in the top list.
Player information will then be displayed in the bottom-left list.
Team scores will only show if the server selected has the ServQuery mod installed on the server.
13. Here is what the UT2k4 Cache Manager looks like:
The files currently in your Cache directory appear in the list located on the left side.
Right click on the files in your cache that you want to "clean". They will appear in the list on the right side.
After you have selected all the files you want to move, Click on Clean.
