Adobe house renovation – Workshop wall demolition
Unfortunately the wall of the workshop was very damaged.
In the end, demolition became the only solution.
Interesting
cavities were also found when crushing the inner plaster ...
Not
a nice sight. Not to mention the cracks.
On
the roof it looks like the end of the workshop was about 15cm down
(it is already raised a bit here)
The
lift was made with a 5 tonne car lifter, moving from beam to beam.
If I lifted a lot at the same time, that beam would break ...
You
can also see the crack on the wall, which was caused by the sinking
of the workshop.
Unfortunately,
the firewall was built on beams and too heavy, so it had to be
demolished.
Demolition
starts ...
Roof
expanded :).
I
selected the bricks separately, because I still need some places.
This
is the demolition of the wall ...
The
plaster was removed here too.
There
was an old bricked door here ...
It
was interesting above the window too ....
The
debris is partially removed.
The
bricks are sorted separately, leached.
There
is more and more of it. In the meantime, the shuttering stones for
the base were made there.
The
roof now hangs only on the supports.
At
that time, I had no idea that this would be the case for months, but
later ...
The
debris is running out.
Meanwhile,
the walnut tree had to be transplanted because it was on its way and
I didn't want it to go wrong.
The
new place:
There was also a hiding pet amidst the big demolitions.
