Adobe house renovation – The black soup...

The demolition of the workshop wall was quite a job because of the large masses of loam walls
(60-70cm wide upright wall).

We finally managed to dig up the foundation. The plan was to dig a 1m deep and 50cm wide pit.

There was a hole at both ends.

The spade crashed here, caught some hard rock ...

There was also a smaller pit, which I wasn't happy about. This section was full of concrete tile debris.

At the end of the line, the stone is surrounded by this sight.

There is a deep enough cavity here ...

Let's light it a bit:

Without a better light, a lamp and a sports camera were down.

Now came the black soup :( Well this sight missed ...

This is definitely a staircase or an end to a cellar.

First shots ... This image was extracted from a captured video.

On the left is a rusty iron cabinet, in the middle is a sand bed and behind it a lot of debris, to the right stairs.

Above the stairs, the arch is partially torn off

I had to find the end of the stairs and expand it.

It wasn't easy because there were 3 layers of concrete everywhere. I think the room sank several times.

The hole had to be cut even bigger.

Every scrap iron was worked on.

It had a fence wire and maybe even a bad spoon instead of normal ironing.

There's a bit of debris, but the box for Pavana opened ...

The foundation had to be dug further in the debris site.

There's a bit of debris in it.

These jars were on the iron cabinet ... According to the labels, they were able to bury the cellar around 1993.

There was also a „treasure calendar” from 1985 :). Time chewed a little bit.

Fuc### Concrete Tiles...

This abnormal idiot who renovated the roof, tossed old concrete tiles into the basement ...

Of course, the concrete in the room was undermined so he could spray it down into the basement ...

There's a big hole here. The roof had to be supported from the outside with an outside beam because

he was afraid the concrete floor would break ...

These are all concrete tile debris :(

The cellar was half with him. A little light is finally infiltrating here.

An arch was found that they had scattered to fill it. Wonder it didn't break ...

Which idiot at all builds a 60-70cm thick main wall of adobe exactly above the basement ??????

It didn't take long for the whole wall to go down into the basement. If I dig the new foundation only 90cm,

then the basement wouldn't come out and the new concrete would surely have fallen off due to its weight ...

Not to mention the watering of the concrete.

The bottom was 3m deep, so a winch had to be used and a bucket pulled up the debris.

The auger was welded to a block.

Not a nice, but nuclear-safe solution.

After a few weeks, the basement was finally cleaned up ... to rush into two.

The cleaned stairs and cellar. It was a nice job to mount the iron cabinet on it.

The wall is filled with cracks everywhere. No wonder the room is approx. 15cm lowered.

The top of the arch doesn't look anything confusing ...

It's finally empty ...

This crack continued on the old wall ...

There is a slight difference in level

The stairs cleaned:

It was the only value down, a rusty hammer head.

There was even a cat skull down there. The rest wasn't there.
