the only player since 1996 to record at least 25 INTs and at least 25
FFs. In addition, according to stats kept by Eagles defensive coaches,
Dawkins has recorded 33 INTs and 32 FFs, for a combined 65 "disruptive
plays." That total is the most by any Eagle since 1982 (when the Eagles
began keeping forced fumbles as an official stat). Former Eagles S Wes
Hopkins (49) is the closest to Dawkins' total with 30 INTs and 19 FFs
- Is the franchise leader with 96 career wins (including 8 playoff
victories)
- Has appeared in 167 regular season games, good for 3rd place on the
team's all-time games played list.
- Became the first player in NFL history to record a sack, an INT, FR,
and TD reception in a single game vs. Hou. (9/29/02). It was the first
time a fake punt was converted into a TD by the Eagles since 1988 (Terry
Hoage). He victimized Texans QB David Carr for the defensive trio of
events before taking a pitch from Brian Mitchell on the fake punt and
racing 57 yds. for his 4th career TD. Earned NFC defensive POW honors
for his effort

INJURY HISTORY:
- Was inactive vs. Buf. (12/30/07) with a spained foot suffered at NO
(12/23). Was inactive for games 3-7 due to a neck stinger suffered vs.
Was. (9/17) which caused him to leave that game in the 4th quarter.
Suffered a concussion in the 3rd qtr. at SF (9/24/06) that sidelined him
for the remainder of the game. Was inactive vs. Cin. (1/2/05) with an
illness. Suffered a Lis Franc sprain in his foot vs. TB (9/8/03) and
missed nine of the next 10 games. In 2000, missed games 4-6 while
recovering from an emergency appendectomy (9/19). Broke his hand at Arz.
on 12/5/99, but did not miss a game. Sprained his right ankle vs. Wash.
(10/11/98) and subsequently missed the next two games. Suffered a
bruised fibula at Jax. (10/12/97) and missed the following week's
matchup vs. Arz. Strained his groin at Ind. (12/5/96) and was sidelined
for the final two regular season contests, but returned for the playoffs.
