One of the most difficult thing in the world, is, how to choose a dog for ourselves?

Should it be big or small?

How shall we choose a dog? This question is as natural as how to choose a partner?

There are people who decide by the appearance.

There are some who check the family tree and the ancestry.
There are some who fall in love for the first sight.
And there are some who decide by other people's opinion, social stereotypes or fashion.

It is the same with dogs. We choose a "partner" for ourselves for 10 or 15 years in a body of a dog.

So the first question is: how do you imagine your dog? Imagine a day, a week, a year of yours. You may want to go on holiday. How do you plan it? What is your lifestyle at the moment like and how you imagine it with your dog? Will you play some sports with it? Do you want it to sleep with you in bed? Do you want it to play with you and your children? Should it be the favourite of the company or should it guard the house? Would you like it to sleep under your desk while working? Should it play around you while working in the garden? Should it run with you in the mornings or go hiking for days? What do you want from it?

What can you give? What are you willing to give it? What kind of dog claims can you supply or are you prepared to supply? Every dog needs to have a joint walk every day. You must spend and play at least half an hour daily with it. Apart from this half an hour how much time would you like to spend with it?

After you have thought all of these things and when you can see your life together with the dog - then the love comes. Be careful: every puppy is sweet, nice and adorable. But every puppy will be a different adult and its environment has only a little part. Every dog has its own characteristics that aren't needed to be changed. You should get the best of them.

If you look inside you will feel when you catch sight of it. You will know exactly that it is your dog and you won't have any doubts.
