Crew54 "Labor"
"Labor" is the first video for Crew54
off he upcoming Wild Gentlemen project produced by Dichter2
Productions. If the movie Office Space is considered a "cult classic"
then consider us apart of that cult. When the idea of having a video
that would contrast with the hard aggressive style of the track came
into play, a parody of Office Space was conceived almost
instantaneously. We had to think of a way to pay homage to the original
but still do it in Crew54 form. Instead of just replaying certain
scenes from the movie bit for bit, we took a lot of our favorite
aspects condensed it down and put our own spin on it. Fans of the movie
should recognize important parts such as the red stapler, the two
Bob's, or the infamous printer destruction scene.
Ancient Jewlz - Real MC
"Real MC2" is the single from Ancient Jewlz upcoming album entitled Ancient Jewlz being released 4th quarter of 2013. Sense
and Reefa Rei are lions amongst human beings, resurrecting the golden
era of lyricism. "Real MC" strikes a fatal blow to any and all
responsible for incarcerating the minds of the youth. The song itself
is the embodiment of a Real MC. The upcoming Ancient Jewlz album
features guest appearances from Hell Razah from Sunz of Man, limousine
prince Booda Blaou and beats provided by Double Helix.
Off
of the success of his first mixtape Where The Sidewalk Ends, which was
downloaded over 50,000 times, underground emcee Patrick "P.A.T."
Barnett (Fort Worth, TX) is currently working on his second mixtape
entitled Go Hard or Go Home (GHOGH). The lead single is a song entitled
Smoke & Mirrors.
Rich
Kidd - Don't Sleep On Me (The Extremities ReFresh'd Mix)
Fresh
from The Extremities' new remix record, The ReFresh, comes one of
Canada's most talented and masterful emcee/producers, Rich Kidd, with
"Don't Sleep On Me".
John Wize - Project 1.0
"Project
1.0" is John Wize' first official release, even though he has been
making music for over seven years now. John Wize, member of the Stereo
Crew, is a producer and occasional vocalist from Detroit and has lend
his production skillz to not only his crew members Stereo Boyz but also
local artists Supa Emcee, Valid, Side Notes Marvin Winans and others. John
Wize did not only want to make a beat tape, but wanted to introduce his
music all around, so he put together a compilation of instrumentals and
full tracks (featuring Stereo Boyz, Perfect Eclipse, B-Side and more),
with every song on the project produced by him. John Wize is a fan of 90s Hip Hop as well as Soul Music and anything that he feels will make a good sample. meghallgatom/letöltöm
Cory Purvis - Smooth
Cory Purvis is a
recording artist who writes and produces his own songs; his true
passion is making beats. He wants his heartfelt music to touch
everybody the same way that music has touched and influenced his life.
Refusing to go mainstream the humble artist spits about real life
issues, Cory speaks for the vulnerable, disenfranchised, contented and
the philosophers of the world. He is working closely with new label
Fast Life Music Family, (FLMF) and is ready to take on the world. Hip
Hop Weekly Indie Grind Spotlight, YoRaps Next 2 Blow, and WWS Magazine
are few among of his accomplishments, mentionable.
The single "Smooth" appeared on Kids At The Front Of The Class,
(K.A.T.F.O.T.C), Cory Purvis' sophomore project. meghallgatom/letöltöm
J'You
- So Apparent (Prod. by Jon Glass)
"If you love hip hop and are
looking for good music you have come to the right place. I (J’You) am
an independent hip hop artist from Lowell, MA. I'm not going to blow
your mind with big money, nice jewelry, fast cars, and easy women. I
started making music as an outlet for anger and depression and
transgressed into a true artist using pain and passion as a baseline
for me to express myself through music. Not everything is about the
struggle, and often times I make music about the opposite. Struggle is
just where it all started. No one feels the same all the time so minor
contradictions in my music are a result of me being human. I don't want
to fool you into thinking I am something I am not, I simply want your
ears. Listen and let me captivate you.
I will continue to pump out tracks that are not like what you hear from
mainstream artists. Even if the sound is similar at times, the message
is not."
