The Irmuska guest house is located on the north side of the Mátra, between mountains and hills, in a small palác village: Bodony (3 km from Parád)!
Our newly renovated farmhouse with a veranda is for rent at an introductory price this year, for a maximum of 4 people, in ONE! During your stay, neither guests nor the owner will stay in the house except for you! The cottage is located in the center of Bodony village (3243. Bodony, Árpád utca 18.).

About the house:
We provide our dear guests with free and unlimited broadband home internet service!
The garden can accommodate several cars (parked one behind the other)!
There is a small lounge between the 2 bedrooms. In one bedroom there are 2 single beds placed separately, in the other there are 2 single beds next to each other, but they can be separated as needed.
The bedrooms and the kitchen are heated with gas convectors.
The bathroom is also newly renovated, but small (the ceiling height is only 180 cm)!
Despite this, everything is available: mirror, socket, 140 cm long bathtub, hair dryer, and we prepare shower gel, body lotion, soap/liquid soap, and 1 small towel for each guest. The bathroom is heated with a radiator.
The kitchen is large, with a large dining table and comfortable armchairs.
The equipment is new, simple, but everything is available: refrigerator with freezer, microwave, hotplate, kettle, sink and dish dryer, glasses, set of plates, cutlery, pots.
All Dear Guests receive a free bottle of mineral water and unlimited tea and Nescafé consumption. We also provide guest slippers!
In addition to these, cleaning agents, a vacuum cleaner and a mop set are also available and can be used in the house.
If you want to stay more than 7 nights, we provide a free bed linen change and cleaning at an agreed time!

Important information:
The accommodation fee does not include the costs of gas and electric heating in addition to the normal use of household appliances, which are to be paid separately upon departure according to the current reading of the meters.
Handing over and receiving the keys is only possible on the basis of personal or telephone consultation at the agreed time!
Only guests registered at the time of booking can stay in the house!
Pursuant to Act CLVI of 2016 on the State Tasks for the Development of Tourist Areas, amended on January 1, 2021, the accommodation provider is obliged to provide the legally defined data of the users of the accommodation service to the accommodation provider designated by the Government (in the system of the Hungarian Tourist Agency - Guest Information Closed Database ) to record, for the purpose specified in the law.
Guests can do this in advance with the VENDÉGEM application available for their smartphones.
Sights of the village:
From the village, the panoramic view of Kékestető (it is 1014 meters high) is wonderful (20 minutes by car), and on a clear day you can also see the beauty of Slovakia, the Tatra mountain.
The village is surrounded by mountains and hills, the panorama is unforgettably beautiful.
In the village you can see the St. Michael's Church, the Past and Present Collection, the Folk Art House and Weaving Workshop, the beautiful fishing lake in Bodony, and on the Panoráma street the hill called Kopasz, but there is also the Potter House and the Szidónia Major, at the entrance to the village (at the edge of the field) there is a high hill with an impressive panoramic view.

Major developments are starting in the area:
The network of hiking trails is being developed, rain houses, station signs and information boards, tables and benches are being placed and panoramic terraces are being created. A three-story observation deck will be built on the parade ground, and a shelter will be created to preserve the condition of the legendary Rákóczi tree.
In Mátraderecské, a spring house will await hikers along the tourist route.
Prices:
1 room, plus common areas: HUF 48,000 / 3 nights (A total of 2 people can fit in the room, the price per person is HUF 8,000/person/night)
2 rooms, plus common areas: HUF 78,000 / 3 nights (A total of 4 people can fit in the rooms, the price per person is HUF 6,500/person/night)
For bookings longer than 3 days, the price is fixed at +13,000 HUF/night/room (So HUF 6,500 per person).
Free for children up to 2 years old, HUF 4,500/person/night for 2-10 year olds.
Over the age of 18, IFA (tourist tax) is payable: HUF 500/person/night.
In special periods (from 22.12.2023 to 02.01.2024) only the entire house, including both rooms, can be booked for a minimum of 4 nights! The price does NOT change, you can stay at the above prices during this period as well!
Cancellation: 50% of the price must be paid in advance at the time of booking. The reservation can be canceled free of charge 72 hours before the booked period, after which the 50% paid serves as a penalty and is not refundable! The payment of the second 50% of the purchase price must be paid in cash or by immediate transfer when the keys are handed over on site.
House rule:
For your pleasant rest, please familiarize yourself with our House Rules before using the Guest House. Please note that by using the Guest House, you acknowledge and accept its House Rules, as well as undertake to comply with what is written therein and take responsibility for the damage caused. The House Rules apply to all guests staying in the Guest House.
Taking responsibility
Guests are financially responsible for damages resulting from improper use of the guest house or violations of the house rules.
The host assumes no responsibility for the property of the guests. We are not responsible for personal items brought into the Guest House area, including its garden. The guest is obliged to take care of his personal belongings and valuables. This responsibility does not lie with the owner.
Equipment belonging to the Guesthouse may not be taken from its premises, even temporarily.
General rules
It is strictly forbidden to be loud or engage in loud activities in the Guest House and its garden between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed to drink alcohol or smoke in the entire area of the Guest House.
Accommodation
On the day of arrival, our guests occupy the house at a PRE-AGRANTED TIME, and on the day of departure, they also leave at a PRE-AGRANTED TIME.
We ask our guests not to receive visitors or to let strangers into the accommodation.
Smoking
Smoking and the use of candles and incense are prohibited in the buildings!
You can smoke in the garden, and please put your butts and garbage in the appropriate container.
Setting fire
It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to set fire in the whole area of the property!
Closing the garden and the building
When leaving and overnight, please lock the building entrance!
Parking
Several cars can fit inside the gate (one behind the other).
There is no snow guard on the roof, so be aware of this when parking! The operator of the guesthouse is not responsible for any damages.
Use of equipment items
Please use the furnishings as intended! Please do not take decorative items from their place. Please do not take indoor furnishings and household items (beds, bedding, mattresses, etc.) out into the garden. If the furniture and fixtures are moved during your stay, we would ask that they be rearranged before departure.
Cleaning
Upon arrival, the Guest House welcomes guests in a clean, cleaned and disinfected state.
Please ensure order and cleanliness during your stay in the Guest House.
During stays of more than 1 week, we provide one-time, free cleaning and bed linen change at an agreed time.
Garbage disposal
Household waste can be collected in the bins in the kitchen.
Garbage is collected selectively! We ask you to do the same!
We collect plastic, metal and packaging material in the selective waste bin.
Heating
The guest house has gas convector heating. The temperature of the rooms is set by the guests themselves.
The bathroom is heated with a radiator.
During the heating period, the heating costs must be paid separately (based on checking the readings of the gas and electricity meters) before departure.
Meal
The guest house has a well-equipped kitchen, please use this room for meals.
Do not put metal objects in the microwave oven!
We kindly ask our guests to wash the used dishes and remove perishable food from the refrigerator before leaving, and to leave the house in order and clean.
