Conclusion

It won't set the world on fire, but RoadRun has all the elements required to make a J2ME game. To be honest, it's better than some of the professional games available.

Go pick up a new BMW convertible as a personal reward for getting this far. If the dealer wants some money, just explain that you've learned how to make a J2ME game and you deserve it! Making J2ME games isn't easy. If you understood everything in this chapter (and trust me, I wasn't going slowly), then you're already a micro-game programmer.

However, you're not here to make average games. In Part III, you'll learn how to push the edge of J2ME gaming. From preprocessors to animation, build scripts to localization, obfuscation to physics, it's time to go pro.
