What's your review of ThePhotoStick?

Disgusting.

I never give any attention to those who are proud of themselves and encourage others to be unhealthy, mentally and/or physically, especially those who twist an ideology that’s meant to be positive into something insidious (e.g. fake #metoo.s, toxic man Gillette commercial). Even worse when the person’s on that mode just to be different.

She’s gonna be the next Queen Latifah, and then a few years later after she gets diabetes or some heart condition realizes “oh I’m an idiot for promoting obesity” and end up on a weight watchers commercial.

NOBODY should be proud to be obese. “Body acceptance” was meant for the range of perfect figures, as there is NO one perfect measurement, none of which includes numbers of those who voluntarily choose to keep themselves at an unhealthy size.

“Body acceptance” isn’t an excuse for like oh hey this is me, let’s get worse. It’s more like alright, this is me, no sweat. These are my proportions, this is what I have to work with. THAT’S acceptance.

For those who may get infuriated by my answer, I would encourage you to watch some weight loss shows. Pay special attention to the episodes where the trainer loads up a wheelbarrow or a backpack with bags of sugar or something, equal to the amount of weight the client lost, and then asks him/her to lug it around on one final trek. It can be a real eye opener when the client is like “wow, I was carrying around all this before?"
