ANNOUNCEMENT OF COMPETITION
DATE AND TIME: 18-19. May 2010, 09:00 hrs.
VENUE: DOROG, Sport Shooting Range

PARTICIPANTS OF THE COMPETITION:
- 3+1-member teams from the intervention units of the police units invited
NATURE OF THE COMPETITION: team competition
COMPETITION EVENTS: timed shooting exercises, understanding and resolving situations.
FIREARMS & EQUIPMENT:
- 1 Service Handgun, caliber 9 mm (P9RC - Jericho941 - CZ75 - HK USP) with the appropriate holster and magazines. ( pro person )
- 1 Submachine Gun, caliber 9 mm (HK MP5 - w/2 magazines, UZI - w/2 magazines). ( pro person )
- 1 Class 4 Bulletproof Vest with Insert (Trauma Plate) ( pro person )
- 1 Tactical Vest ( pro person )
- 1 Shotgun ( 12-gauge, Pump-Action) ( pro team )
- Eye and Ear Protection Gear, Gas Mask. ( pro person )
- 1 Hand held Flashlight ( pro person )
AMMUNITION:
- Ammunition suitable for the above firearms in service with the police may be used
- The use of steel ball ammunition is prohibited.
- Ammunition must be provided by the competitors invited 350 piece / person
- Fort he shotgun: 10 rounds of Brenneke (slug) ammunition and 25 rounds of 2 - 2,5 shot ammunition for each competitor
HOLSTERS AND CARRY MODES:
P9RC - Jericho - HK USP - Sig Sauer: holsters in service with the given police units /hip and thigh holsters/. The holster may only be worn on the side of the shooting hand. Sub Gun: HK-MP5, UZI with the sling in service with the firearm, slung around the neck. The shotgun is held in the shooter's hands at all times, chambering the first round can only take place in the shooting position, immediately prior to engaging the target.
FORM OF DRESS:
- BDU style uniform in service with the given police unit, black or woodland camouflage in color.
EVALUATION:
Following the information on the conditions of the exercise, provided on site, and following the discussion of the given situation, each exercise must be performed by the competitors working as a 3-member team. Prior to the execution of the exercise, the precise parameters will be announced in a uniform manner, along with the safety rules! After the execution of each exercise, competitors will be given ranking numbers on the given course/exercise; the team with the lowest total ranking number will win the competition.
PRIZES: 1st - 3rd place: Cup, Medal and Certificate

Due to the nature of the competition and the exhausting tasks involved, competitors coming from foreign countries are advised to spend one night in Hungary after the conclusion of the competition, and travel home well rested the next day (20st May). The cost of this extra night will be covered by the organisers.
