Adding Cosmic compiler error parser to QtCreator 

I am forced to use Cosmic C compiler for developing STM8. All of the existing IDEs (STVD and Cosmic's own) for STM8 are terrible, so I am using QtCreator for editing code.

To be able to jump easily to the compiler errors/warnings I have created a custom error parser:


I have used the following error parser regexps:

for errors

And

#warning\s.*\s(.*):(\d*)\((.*)\)\s(.*)
for warnings.

[Retro]Coca cola: Legyen egy saját városod karácsonyra 

Rendhagyó bejegyzés a mai, nem valami tech anyázás, hanem egy kis múltbarévedés következik.

Valamikor a kilencvenes évek végén/kétezres évek elején volt egy karácsonyi Coca-cola promóció amiben az üdítőitalokhoz papírból kitördelhető papírházakat adtak. Az évet még csak megsaccolni sem tudom, az internet egyszerűen nem ismeri az "Legyen egy saját városod karácsonyra coca cola" kifejezést. Édesapám jóvoltából anno az egész kollekció megvolt, de az idők során teljesen elkoptak otthonról az ilyen jellegű karácsonyfadíszek.

A minap egyik rokonnál előkerült a "Panzió" fedőnevű eleme a sorozatnak.





Érdemes megfigyelni az illesztések viharvertségét, illetve az apró gegeket a házikón. Gyerekkoromóta akárhányszor került ilyen a kezembe valahogy mindig olyan érzésem támad, hogy a grafikusoknak sikerült valamit nagyon eltalálniuk.

Do not trust in Genius! 

I have bought a Genius Facecam 321 to use with mjpg-streamer on Linux.
The packaging mentioned MJPEG as supported format, but it is lying!
The camera only supports YUV both on Windows and Linux :(

What's inside the AI Thinker A6 GSM modem? 

I have not been able to find anything more detailed about the internals of the AI Thinker A6 GSM modem.

I bought one, fired up my heat air gun and:


We can see two major components:

A RDA8851MS controller and a RDA6625e frontend

At the same time I am looking for an SDK to it. So called CSDTK.

Getting started with NewPos NEW6210 mPOS 

I have got a NewPos NEW6210 mPOS to do some application development.

I wanted to get the development env rolling on my Ubuntu 14.04
The manual suggests using 32 bit RedHat Enterprise Server 6 x86 32bit version, but you know no pain no gain.

The documentation and the overall quality of the support is something what you expect from a typical chinese company. You got an FTP access and figure out what you need.

So let's get a gcc to compile a hello world. The official toolchain is based on a 32 bit glibc-oabi-toolchain-arm-generic compiler.

To get this tool working you will need a 32 bit build of the mpfr-2.4.2 (the manual lists it as reqirement too -- Because this toolchain uses a high grade version of GCC toolchain, --).
You can grab it from here:

Some things are changed around the gmp so replace all occurrences of __gmp_const with a simple const. (Do it with sed or whatever you like).
./configure --prefix=/usr "CFLAGS=-m32" "CXXFLAGS=-m32" "LDFLAGS=-m32"
To compile it to 32 bit you will need to set the proper cflags.
./configure --prefix=/usr "CFLAGS=-m32" "CXXFLAGS=-m32" "LDFLAGS=-m32"

After installing it the cross compiler will claim about the missing libgmp.so.3.

Install the 32 bit version of the libgmp10 lib with:
sudo apt-get install libgmp10:i386

Then create a symlink:
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libgmp.so /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libgmp.so.3

Aaaannnd at this point we have a somewhat working crosscompiler.

ATM I cannot ssh to the target, as the manual says, so stay tuned!
