The already forgotten BETA Drift-Track from 2009 is finally here and it has never been seen this awesome!
Nearly 15 years later, I have completely remade the track and this time it's not a BETA version!
Probably I am not the only one who thinks the original game's biggest weakness is the lack of race selection and AI opponent customization.
I was messing around with the game and first time ever, I could manage to force the game to add (not too smart) opponents to my own addon map.
Let's see the results!
Believe me or not, when I was looking for this map on Wenson, I realized that it has never been published. I feel so stupid about forgetting this content on my old HDD but I have good news. In the next couple of days I will upload the final version with some extra features added such as ambient SFX and custom race modes.
Or shall we wait until Christmas?
In this short I am presenting the behaviour of my custom made SFX. Not only constant ambient sounds have been implemented such as birds chirping or race cars but now the player can find dynamic sound effects by approaching different custom made objects like crowds, spectator boxes, etc.
