I’ve decided to completely remake the original map and do some experiment on new features which ended up a long and time consuming project and now finally, it’s time to announce its PUBLIC RELEASE!
Let me introduce you the complete remake of the old Malaga Spain BETA map.
This version of mod comes with:
– brand new textures,
– shaders,
– enhanced water materials and particles,
– ambient and object SFX,
– lightmapping,
– shadow buffers,
– fixed recovery points,
– TV and spline cameras,
– 6 unique select-able routes that are also AI optimized,
– working checkpoints and starting grids,
– multiplayer mode support,
– included source code and 3dsmax file for those who want to get into map making!

As most of you know, this original fanbase site of mine was established approximately 15 years ago, if not longer, it is based on a free web server and thanks to miracles only it is still alive and running nowadays however the host decided to cancel their free services and shut down the site soon.

This time CsuTy put not only one but TEN new addon maps to Cross Racing Championship and here’s what happened!
All maps are sourced from the original L.A. Street Racing/OVERSPEED games, with enhanced textures and other elements, turning CRC into a fun, illegal-night street racing scene!
This pack contains NINE new, plus ONE completely remade and updated map of the W Brightwood St that was released earlier in 2025.

Probably I am not the only one who thinks the original game's biggest weakness is the lack of race selection and AI opponent customization.
I was messing around with the game and first time ever, I could manage to force the game to add (not too smart) opponents to my own addon map.
