 We note that in the EU the hourly wage is used for comparison, Bérbarométer uses monthly wages. Hourly wages are important in countries where part time work is a mass phenomenon. In Hungary, this not yet the case. In examining differences between the wages of men and women, we used four standpoints: • filtering part time workers • filtering self employed workers, those who work in family enterprises, and entrepreneurs • filtering those who gave no answer concerning their income • filtering those younger than 22 years and older than 55 years of age. |  |
