Harmonized questionnaire

The questionnaire, containing 48 questions, has been prepared in a way that the Hungarian labour market situation could be compared to that of the other countries of the network.
The database
The database containing 150 variables has been prepared according to the answers given in the questionnaire. The database is available in a format which can be worked up with an SPSS statistical analyzing program.
On-line questionnaire
Besides the 10000 paper based questionnaires, the questions can be answered on-line. The filling in of the questionnaire is continuous

Attention!
Based on our experiences so far, we have to draw attention to a few things about the database based on the online questionnaire.
Today in Hungary the online questionnaire cannot replace paper based questionnaires, it can just complete them.
The main reason is that in Hungary Internet is not so widely used as in more developed European countries of the Wageindicator network, such as The Nederland’s or Belgium. Paper questionnaires assure the quality and quantity of the sample in countries where the use of Internet is not so widely speared. It is not accidental that many countries joining the Wageindicator network – for example India or Mexico – chose the Hungarian model and use the combination of paper questionnaires and their online version
