Let us see in detail what the main points of interest of the Bérbarométer questionnaire are.

Questions of block A: The occupation the questions concern the characteristics of the workplace. The respondents give their present status (student, retired, active, etc.), if they ever had  job, how many and what kind of job they have (employee, family worker, entrepreneur, etc), what kind of qualification they have, if they participate in further education, what is the classification of their job according to Hungarian NACE and the standard qualification of occupations.
There is a (subjective) question about the nature of their work (whether it is monotonous, diversified, tiring, stressful, etc.)

Questions of block B: The work organization the questions of block B ask for the characteristics of the work organization, its size, the rate of women workers, is there is a collective contract, the role and presence of trade unions, if there have been dismissals recently.

The questions of block C: Carrier (the history of their job)  this block refers to the length of time of the respondents’ carrier, the number of their workplaces and occupations, the history of their unemployment, job-seeking techniques, and workplace preferences.

Questions of block D: Working time.  This block asks for the nature of working time (full time, part time, work in the week-end, overtime, the regularity of working time and the changes in working time), and the duration and modes of reaching the workplace.

Questions of block E: Work contract and wage block E contains details about wage and work contract: whether it is a fixed term or a permanent contract, if the respondent is employed on a minimum wage, the relation between performance and wage, the monthly net and gross wages, wage supplements, the frequency of augmentations.

Questions of block F: Personal questions  this block concerns the gender, age, residence, family status, number of children of the respondents. There are questions about trade unions membership and the respondents’ motivation for filling in the questionnaire.
