Two stage, single-ended Class A amplifier, 2x60W, designed by Nelson Pass.

Improved version of legendary Pass Labs Aleph 2 power amplifier.

I designed the PCB layout, based on original component placement. I tried to be as close to the original design, as possible.

Chassis will be the same design, as the Aleph 30 chassis, just utilized as monoblock.

The whole PCB was designed based on Nelson's original layout (can be found in the service manual). The PCB was made in a professional PWB factory. PCB properties are 70um Cu, on both sides, double sided FR4 boards. Heatsinks are made in Hungary, by Alcoa Corp. in Székesfehérvár.

Components:

- Holco audiophile resistors (1/4 and 1/2W)
- Panasonic 3W resistors
- Matched FET tarnsistors (IRFP 240)
- Panasonic FC capacitors
- Silver Mica capacitors
- 2x70um Cu FR4 PCB
- Kimber hook-up wires
- Neutrik XLR connectors
- WBT binding posts

PSU components:

- Nippon Chemicon 68000uF/50V capacitors
- Wima capacitors
- OnSemi MUR series diodes
- 2x70um Cu FR4 PCB
