In the Budai Grammar School, the Imre Amos Gallery has been located since 2005.
He died very young, at age 37. We have 52 paintings and other works, donated by his wife to the town of Nagykallo. Displayed are oil paintings, graphics, and watercolors. His real name was Imre Ungar, and he was brought up in Jewish tradition in the spirit of Izsak Taub Eizik, the rabbi with miraculous powers, who is buried in Nagykallo. His tomb is well-known all over the world, and a lot of pilgrims come to visit it all year long.
